Recipe: Coconut liquid porridge
Do you want to give liquid porridge or välling to your child? Then this recipe is a great nutritious alternative to the regular kind. It has a velvety texture and a soft sweetness from the banana. It is also kind to the stomach. Avocado is the food that is most reminiscent of breast milk in its composition and the banana contains both easily absorbed energy plus minerals and vitamins. This is a superfood drink for a small child.
Ingredients:
1 banana
1/2 avocado
3 dl coconut water (or 1 dl coconut milk and 2 dl water)
How to:
Peel the banana and avocado. Add coconut water. Mix all ingredients in a blender or with a hand mixer to a smooth drink. Serve in a baby bottle or in a cup.
